Bridget Carleton ignited the third quarter with a crucial 3-pointer, propelling the Lynx ahead 47-46β€”a lead they maintained for the remainder of the game. Collier further solidified their advantage by sinking another 3-pointer with only 0.4 seconds left in the third quarter, following a deft drive and assist from Williams, pushing the score to 68-63.

As the fourth quarter unfolded, Collier continued to shine, contributing to an 8-2 run with two free throws that extended the lead to 76-65. The Lynx's defense tightened late in the game, forcing turnovers on three consecutive possessions and converting them into layups, which resulted in an 87-74 lead with just 2:39 remaining.

Collier's shooting was impressive; she finished 7 of 14 from the field, including 4 of 7 from beyond the arc, and was perfect at the free-throw line, going 11 for 11. Kayla McBride added 17 points while Carleton chipped in with 11, contributing to the Lynx's successful night behind the arc with 12 made 3-pointers out of 32 attempts.

For Chicago (7-14), Angel Reese recorded her ninth consecutive double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Rachel Banham supported the effort with 15 points, while Rebecca Allen added another 10. However, Ariel Atkins, who had scored 27 points in their last matchup, exited in the second quarter due to a leg injury and did not return.
