On May 27, a video featuring Stefon Diggs surfaced online, showing the New England Patriots wide receiver engaging with several women while holding an unidentified pink substance. This incident comes just two months after Diggs signed a lucrative $69 million contract with the team.
“It’s something that we’re aware of,” Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel stated during a press conference on May 28. “We want to make great decisions on and off the field. Our hope is that during our time here, when we don’t have a script, we’re making good choices. The message remains consistent for all players: we aim to make great decisions. Any discussions I’ve had with Stefon will stay between him, me, and the club.”
In the video, Diggs, 31, can be heard advising the women not to “take all of it” and encouraging them to “have fun” before returning to him. The timing of this video is particularly concerning for the Patriots, who are currently in their voluntary organized team activities (OTAs). Although Diggs is not obligated to attend these sessions, the mandatory minicamp is set to begin on June 9.
Diggs has not publicly addressed the video while absent from OTAs. Meanwhile, speculation about his personal life continues as he is believed to be dating rapper Cardi B. Although she does not appear in the controversial video, she was seen in another clip taken on the same boat, where they danced together among other guests.
The couple was recently spotted at Madison Square Garden supporting the New York Knicks during their NBA Playoffs run in early May. They were seen courtside, displaying affection as they entered the arena hand-in-hand and shared moments of public display of affection throughout the game.
Earlier in April, Diggs and Cardi were also seen together at Coachella. Following a video of their appearance at the festival circulating on Instagram, Cardi’s ex-husband Offset expressed his approval of their relationship in the comments section, stating, “I’m happy for her !!”
Cardi B and Offset were married in 2017 but divorced in 2024. They share three children: daughter Kulture, 6, son Wave, 3, and a daughter born in September. Cardi announced her pregnancy shortly after filing for divorce last July. Diggs also has a daughter, Nova, 8, from a previous relationship with Tyler-Marie.
