Porsche Driver Shoots Motorist in Foot for ‘taking too long’ to Park

May 11 2025

In a shocking incident that highlights the extremes of road rage, a Porsche driver shot another motorist in the foot simply because he felt the man was “taking too long” to park his truck. This bizarre event unfolded outside an Airbnb in the vibrant Wynwood area of Miami on April 11.

The shooter, identified as 29-year-old Anthony Christopher Russian from Tampa, was waiting in his white Porsche Macan while the driver of a Toyota Tacoma struggled to back into a tight parking spot. According to reports, Russian grew impatient and began honking his horn aggressively at the other driver.

After the Tacoma driver finally managed to park, he approached Russian’s vehicle to address the situation. Russian, however, was not in the mood for conversation. He reportedly told the victim that he was “taking too long” and then brandished a firearm. In a shocking turn of events, he aimed at the other driver’s torso and pulled the trigger, but the gun malfunctioned not once, but twice.

As the victim turned to walk back to his Airbnb, he suddenly heard a gunshot and felt a sharp burning sensation in his right foot. He quickly made his way to a nearby hospital for treatment. Later, he was able to identify Russian in a police lineup, leading to the shooter’s arrest.

Russian was taken into custody on Wednesday and now faces serious charges, including second-degree attempted murder and the use or display of a firearm during the commission of a felony. A Miami-Dade judge has ordered him to be held without bond on the attempted murder charge, emphasizing the severity of the situation.
