Travis Kelce's Family Celebrates The Kingdom Premiere

On August 24, the red carpet at the Kansas City premiere of ESPN's docuseries, The Kingdom, was graced by the presence of Donna and Ed Kelce, who came to support their son, Travis Kelce.

Both parents took time to engage with reporters, expressing their pride for Travis, 35, who was also present in a stylish charcoal suit and dark sunglasses. He posed for photos, flashing his signature wide grin and a peace sign.

Donna, 72, and Ed, 74, who divorced after 25 years of marriage, shared their thoughts on their sons during interviews. Donna reflected on her pride in Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, stating, “I know my children and I know the people that surround them. They’re just two very special individuals.” Her words highlighted the relatability and charm of her sons, emphasizing the joy she has experienced meeting various people through them.

When asked about recent podcasts, a nod to Travis and Jason’s popular “New Heights” podcast featuring Taylor Swift, Donna remarked, “That was very enlightening… just a fun interaction between family.” She praised her sons’ interviewing skills, noting how they create a comfortable environment for their guests.

Ed also shared his sentiments with reporters, expressing happiness for Travis. He commented on Travis’ relationship with Swift, saying, “They are two people that truly deserve each other.” His remarks underscored the family's supportive dynamic amidst their rising fame.

Ed acknowledged the family's new public visibility, admitting he isn’t as accustomed to the red carpet scene as Donna but expressed joy in sharing these moments with his sons. “I’m just glad to share my joy with these boys,” he said.

Meanwhile, Travis’ Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes enjoyed the evening alongside his wife Brittany Mahomes. The couple was seen sharing laughter and affectionate glances during what was a rare date night for them.
