West Hollywood Attorney-Turned-OnlyFans Creator Arrested in Miami Gay Cruise Drug Bust
Joshua Eddy, a 41-year-old attorney from West Hollywood, found himself in legal trouble this week as he was apprehended in Miami just before embarking on a gay cruise.
On Sunday, Eddy was one of nine individuals arrested while attempting to board the Symphony of the Seas for the Symphony 2026 event, touted as the "world's biggest gay festival at sea," according to a spokesperson from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
Known for his vibrant red hair and online persona, Eddy has transitioned from practicing law to becoming an OnlyFans creator, where he brands himself as the “Beefy ginger bro next door.” His social media presence is significant, with a strong following on platforms like Instagram under the handles @eddythefit and @daddy.
As he prepared for festivities aboard the cruise, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers conducted a routine screening at PortMiami. Their trained detection dogs led to the discovery of illegal substances in Eddy's luggage.
Authorities reported finding multiple bags containing pills and a liquid that tested positive for various controlled substances. The haul included approximately 19.3 grams of MDMA, 3.4 grams of ketamine, 7.55 grams of methamphetamine, and around 80 grams of GBL.
Following the discovery, CBP summoned officers from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, who arrested Eddy and confiscated the narcotics.
Charged with four felonies, including trafficking MDMA and possession of meth, GBL, and ketamine, Eddy appeared in court on Monday. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court in April. Attempts to reach him for comment were unsuccessful.
Records from the California State Bar indicate that Eddy has been an active member since 2013. Additionally, he has been associated with Meta since 2018, although representatives from the company did not respond to inquiries regarding his employment status.
On his OnlyFans account, which features 575 posts, subscribers can access content for $14.99 per month. Eddy also shares glimpses of his daily life, including workouts and meals, on TikTok under the handle @eddieburkex, where he proudly identifies as “100% ginger.”
