Aces Dominate Wings with 106-80 Victory
Jackie Young led the charge for the Las Vegas Aces, scoring 24 points in a commanding 106-80 victory against the Dallas Wings on Sunday. The Wings opted to rest their rookie sensation, Paige Bueckers, which may have contributed to their struggles.

Kierstan Bell also shone brightly, contributing a career-high 19 points. Together, they combined for seven three-pointers, helping the Aces achieve a season-high total of 15, five of which came from Young.
A'ja Wilson added to the Aces' success with a well-rounded performance, tallying 14 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. This victory halted a two-game losing streak for Las Vegas, now standing at 13-13. NaLyssa Smith chipped in with 11 points.
For the Wings, Arike Ogunbowale was the standout scorer with 18 points, while Haley Jones contributed 15. DiJonai Carrington and Teaira McCowan added 14 and 12 points respectively, with McCowan also grabbing 13 rebounds.
The first quarter saw Young score 14 points, including four three-pointers, ending with both teams tied at 27. The Wings shot an impressive 59% during this period.
Midway through the second quarter, Bell's three-pointer gave the Aces a 39-36 lead, and she followed it up with another shot from beyond the arc as Las Vegas surged ahead to a 56-44 halftime advantage. This marked the tenth time Dallas allowed an opponent to score over 50 points in a half, and it was the second consecutive game they had done so.
Despite committing only 12 turnovers, the Wings struggled to capitalize on their opportunities, managing just 10 points off those mistakes. In contrast, the Aces converted Dallas's turnovers into a staggering 26 points.
Becky Hammon celebrated her 100th regular-season win as head coach, becoming the third-fastest coach to reach this milestone in just 142 games.
