Baltimore Ravens Reveal Progress on M&T Bank Stadium Renovations
New premium seating options, expanded video boards, and upgraded concessions are transforming M&T Bank Stadium, enhancing the game day experience for Baltimore Ravens fans this season.
The Ravens provided an update on the second phase of their extensive renovation plan, which is part of a multi-million-dollar investment in the stadium.
"There's really no limit to what we want to think about with M&T Bank Stadium," remarked Brad Downs, senior vice president of marketing for the Ravens. "We know it's a world-class venue."
Among the most noticeable changes are self-service retail and food options aimed at minimizing wait times and improving convenience for fans.
The former ticket office is being repurposed into a 4,900-square-foot retail store located near Section 140. Additionally, a new "Ravenous Chicken" concept will take over the old Gate A store at Section 153, both featuring self-checkout capabilities.
"These renovations reflect what fans want," Downs emphasized. "They want to get to the stadium earlier, have places to socialize before the game, during halftime, or afterward."
Announced in December 2023, the project is expected to be completed by 2026, with a total estimated cost of around $450 million.
Other significant upgrades include high-definition video boards boasting over 75 million pixels and more than 100 enhanced televisions throughout the venue. A redesigned North Plaza is also in the works, set to feature a hospitality and retail village that can accommodate major events like concerts or potentially the NFL Draft.
"The nice thing about these renovations is the ability to activate the stadium in more dynamic ways, 365 days a year," stated Ravens President Sashi Brown. "This makes the stadium more attractive for third-party events—soccer matches, concerts—and we're working hard at that."
For those seeking luxury, new field-level "Legends Suites" in the west end zone will debut alongside several other premium club spaces. These additions aim to enhance both the in-game experience and offseason engagement through events such as watch parties and private gatherings.
Phase three of the renovation is already underway, which will introduce a new three-level tailgate and concert venue complete with a full-service bar, anticipated to be finished by 2026.
Ravens fans will have to wait until September to experience these upgrades firsthand. However, with off-season workouts currently in progress and fall approaching rapidly, anticipation for the upcoming season is palpable.
The first phase of renovations was completed in 2024 and included a new roof deck designed for fans to sit, eat, and drink before, during, and after home games.
New on-field seats bring fans closer than ever to the action. An upgraded club level and a new ultra-luxury suite known as The BlackWing offer visitors unparalleled views and an exceptional game-day experience.
