David Pollack Highlights Jordon Hudson Amid UNC Football Discussion

During a recent episode of his podcast, “See Ball Get Ball,” David Pollack, a former ESPN analyst, made headlines by mentioning Jordon Hudson, girlfriend of NFL coach Bill Belichick, while discussing the University of North Carolina's football prospects.

Pollack, 43, shared his insights on the Tar Heels’ upcoming season on July 8. Belichick, who took the helm at UNC in December 2024, has sparked interest not only for his coaching but also for his relationship with Hudson, 23.

“I have no clue what to expect from Chapel Bill except a hot honey walking the sidelines,” Pollack remarked, alluding to Hudson’s presence at the games. “That’s all I know is going to happen.”

Hudson made her public debut alongside Belichick in October 2024, following months of speculation about their relationship. She was notably present at Belichick’s introductory press conference and turned heads in high-heeled boots during the team’s spring game in April.

Despite the mixed opinions surrounding Hudson's role in Belichick's life, Pollack expressed confidence in the coach's transition to college football. “I’d bet on him,” he stated, reflecting on his own journey after a successful career as a linebacker at the University of Georgia.

Pollack recounted his experiences with Belichick during his time with the New England Patriots. “One room was very different, and that was the Patriots with Belichick,” he said. “He chimed in, he asked questions. He asked about the scar on my head. No one else asked about that.”

The Tar Heels are set to kick off their 2025 season against TCU on September 1. However, Hudson's involvement with the football program has been a topic of controversy.

In May, journalist Pablo Torre reported that Hudson was reportedly barred from the football building and field. “I don’t think you’ll be hearing much from Jordon moving forward,” Torre quoted a source from the university on his podcast, “Pablo Torre Finds Out.”

Following Torre’s claims, UNC issued a statement clarifying Hudson's status. “While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the statement read. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”

Torre quickly responded to the university's statement via social media, asserting his position. “UNC can now choose to describe or change its position on Jordon Hudson’s involvement however it wishes,” he posted on X. “We stand by the specific reporting in our episode, which came from the highest levels of the football program.”
