Josh Allen Celebrates Marriage to Hailee Steinfeld: ‘She Makes Life Easier’
Josh Allen opened up about his marriage to Hailee Steinfeld during a press conference in New York City, revealing the profound impact she has on his life.
In a video released by TMZ, the Buffalo Bills quarterback reflected on the past few months, highlighting his wedding as a pivotal moment. “None other than marrying my best friend,” Allen stated, emphasizing that Steinfeld, 28, simplifies his life. “She makes everything easier. I don’t really focus on the other stuff; that was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”
The couple exchanged vows on May 31, shortly after Allen was named NFL MVP in February and signed a record-breaking $330 million contract that extends through the 2030 season.
Photos of their rehearsal ceremony surfaced just a day before the wedding, showcasing Steinfeld in a stunning white strapless gown complemented by opera gloves and a long veil.
Dating rumors began in May 2023 when the pair was spotted enjoying multiple outings in New York. By June, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Steinfeld was “excited” about their relationship, noting that Allen was “the first guy in a while [she’d] been really interested in.”
During an August 2023 appearance on the “Pardon My Take” podcast, Allen expressed surprise at the media attention surrounding their relationship, particularly regarding their vacation filled with public displays of affection.

The couple announced their engagement in November 2024 with a joint Instagram post featuring Allen proposing under a floral arch. They captioned it with the date “11•22•24,” marking a significant milestone.
One month later, Allen shared his feelings of anxiety about keeping the proposal plans under wraps in Steinfeld’s “Beau Society” newsletter. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you,” he confessed. He also mentioned how emotional he felt throughout the day as songs reminded him of their upcoming special moment.
The couple made their red carpet debut at the 2025 NFL Honors ceremony in February, where Allen received the MVP award. During his acceptance speech, he praised Steinfeld as his “rock” and “best friend,” further solidifying their bond.
