Florida Panthers Set for Another Championship Parade

Jun 18 2025

The Florida Panthers clinched the Stanley Cup once more, defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 on Tuesday night. This victory marks their second consecutive championship, prompting plans for another celebratory parade.

Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis announced that the parade is tentatively scheduled for this Sunday, as reported by local sources. The route is expected to follow State Road A1A along Fort Lauderdale Beach, mirroring last year's festivities.

Last year's parade was memorable, albeit drenched, as rain poured throughout the event. Over 200,000 fans braved the elements in 2024, showing unwavering support for their team despite the weather challenges.

The previous parade commenced at Riomar Street and concluded near Fort Lauderdale Beach Park at Southeast 5th Street, directly across from Hotel Maren, where a victory rally took place.

For those planning to attend, public transportation will be free on parade day. Additionally, water taxis will be available for $15 from three key locations: the Riverside Hotel in Las Olas, the Galleria Mall on Sunrise, and the Hilton Marina on the 17th Street Causeway.

While the Panthers have yet to officially confirm the details of the parade, excitement is building among fans eager to celebrate this remarkable achievement once again.
