NJ Police Couple Accused of Having Sex in Front of Children And Sharing Photos

A scandal has rocked New Jersey as a married couple, both serving in law enforcement, faced arrest for disturbing allegations involving their children. Officer Brian DiBiasi from the Hamilton Police Department found himself terminated from his position on January 31. The reason? He stands accused of circulating explicit images and videos featuring children, as reported by NJ Attorney General Matt Platkin.

The investigation into the DiBiasis, which includes Brian, 39, and his wife Elizabeth, 42, commenced following a report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding concerning images. Both individuals were taken into custody on January 29.

According to authorities, Brian DiBiasi allegedly shared 36 media files containing nude content of his wife, with their children reportedly visible in the background. Shockingly, chat logs revealed references to the presence of children during intimate moments between the couple.

The charges against Brian DiBiasi are grave and include permitting a child to partake in a sexual act that could be recorded, engaging in conduct that could corrupt the morals of a child, possessing a quantity of child sexual abuse images, distributing such images, and possessing them with the intent to circulate.

Elizabeth DiBiasi, a cop at the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, faces charges related to engaging in conduct that could corrupt the morals of a child.

NJ Attorney General Matt Platkin expressed deep concern over the case, emphasizing the severity of crimes against children, particularly when the accused individuals are law enforcement officers. "Protecting children from this kind of lasting harm is one of our most important responsibilities," Platkin stated.

Hamilton’s Mayor Jeff Martin addressed the situation, condemning the actions that led to Brian DiBiasi's dismissal. He highlighted the impact of such behavior on the community's trust in law enforcement, reassuring the public that the actions of a few do not define the integrity of the majority who serve and protect.

As the case unfolds, questions linger about Elizabeth DiBiasi's employment status. It remains uncertain whether she continues to serve in her role at the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.

Despite the gravity of the accusations, the DiBiasis have remained silent, declining to comment on the unfolding events.
