Man Accused of Raping Boy and Sharing Video on Dark Web, Authorities Concerned About Additional Victims
A disturbing case has emerged in Brooklyn, where a man stands accused of heinous crimes against a young boy under his care. Ramel "Menah" Warner, a 23-year-old who lived with the victim's family for two years, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the 7-year-old boy he frequently babysat. Shockingly, investigators revealed that Warner recorded six videos of the abuse, which he reportedly shared on the dark web.
Charged on January 29 in federal court, Warner faces serious accusations including acting in a manner injurious to a child, forcible touching, and sexual abuse of a child under 11 years old. The recordings, crucial evidence in the case, prominently display Warner's distinctive tattoos.

Authorities, deeply concerned about the possibility of additional victims, have urged anyone with information to come forward. Both the FBI and the NYPD are actively seeking any other individuals who may have been subjected to similar abuses by Warner.
The distressing revelation came to light when the young victim confided in his mother about the alleged assaults in November 2022. Promptly, Warner was apprehended by the NYPD and subsequently faced an 11-count indictment, with the criminal case still pending.
Alarming details from the indictment shed light on Warner's audacious behavior even after his initial arrest. Despite facing charges for such serious offenses, he continued to engage with children, participating in a children's dance group that convened at a local middle school.
The indictment emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, "The defendant's relentless efforts to associate with children even after his arrest for a serious crime against a child show that he cannot be trusted to stay away from children if released."
While the court documents did not specify the exact schools where Warner had connections, federal and city officials declined to disclose this information. Warner currently remains in custody, with uncertainties looming over his legal representation as of the latest update.
