Pizza Delivery Worker Stabs Pregnant Customer 14 Times in Dispute Over $2 Tip

A Florida pizza delivery worker, Brianna Alvelo, was arrested after an alleged altercation with a pregnant customer escalated over a $2 tip. The 22-year-old reportedly became upset about the tip, leading to a confrontation that turned violent.

The incident took place at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee, where Alvelo had delivered a pizza to the victim. Enraged by the small gratuity, Alvelo returned to the scene later with an accomplice and proceeded to stab the pregnant woman multiple times, as detailed by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

According to the authorities, Alvelo, armed with a knife, launched a brutal attack on the victim, resulting in multiple stab wounds. The victim, who was accompanied by her boyfriend and her 5-year-old daughter at the motel for a birthday celebration, was subjected to a harrowing ordeal due to the delivery woman's violent outburst.

Reports indicate that the customer had handed Alvelo a $50 bill for a $33 order. However, when Alvelo failed to provide change for the large denomination, the customer could only manage to give her a $2 tip, further fueling Alvelo's anger.

Surveillance footage captured Alvelo's red Toyota arriving at the motel for the delivery and later returning with her masked companion, painting a chilling picture of the events that transpired that night. The victim, in an attempt to shield her young daughter from the attackers, was struck in the back by the assailants.

Amid the chaos, the victim tried to protect her child by placing her on the bed and reaching for her phone, only to have Alvelo destroy it. Subsequently, Alvelo proceeded to viciously stab the pregnant woman 14 times before the armed accomplice urged them to flee the scene.

Following the assault, the victim was rushed to a local hospital and fortunately, she was listed in stable condition. However, during her treatment, she received the shocking news that she was pregnant, adding another layer of distress to the already traumatic situation.

Law enforcement authorities swiftly took action, apprehending Alvelo the next day. However, her unidentified armed companion, who was reportedly wielding a gun during the attack, remains at large, posing a continued threat to the community.

Alvelo now faces serious charges including attempted murder, home invasion with a firearm, assault, and kidnapping, underscoring the severity of her actions. She has been incarcerated at the Osceola County Jail without bond as the investigation unfolds.
