Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's Wedding: A Low-Key Affair Under $10 Million?

It looks like Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are keeping their wedding plans a bit more low-key than many anticipated.

As they prepare to tie the knot in Venice at the end of June, sources indicate that the couple won’t be spending nearly as much of their vast fortunes as previously speculated. “It’s going to be very intimate — just family and close friends. Under 200 people,” a source close to the couple shared with Paula Froelich of NewsNation.

Contrary to earlier rumors, the wedding will not feature performances from big-name artists like Lady Gaga and Elton John. “That’s ridiculous,” the source added, putting those speculations to rest.

The estimated cost of the wedding is reported to be between $9.5 million and $11 million, which is surprisingly modest for the second richest person in the world and an Emmy Award-winning media personality.

Notable guests expected to attend include Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, as well as Kris and Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

The couple and their guests will be staying at the luxurious Aman Venice and the Gritti Palace, both of which come with hefty price tags of around $500,000 per night.

Additionally, excursions on their yacht Koru, the world’s largest sailing yacht at 417 feet, along with docking fees, could add another $500,000 to the overall expenses.

When you factor in entertainment, a photographer, wedding planner, flights, food, drinks, and attire, the total could easily climb a few million more. Representatives for Bezos have not commented on the details of the wedding.
