Julión Álvarez's AT&T Stadium Concert Postponed Due to Visa Complications

May 24 2025

Julión Álvarez's sold-out concert at Arlington's AT&T Stadium, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed, his team announced Friday. The reason? Visa complications that prevented the Mexican music star from entering the United States in time.

CMN and Copar Music, the promoters behind the event, released a statement detailing the unforeseen circumstances surrounding the visa issue. Approximately 50,000 tickets had been sold for the eagerly awaited show, highlighting the disappointment felt by fans.

On his Instagram account, Álvarez shared his dismay over the situation, emphasizing that it was beyond his control. "Sadly, the event will not go on as planned due to our work visa being canceled," he wrote, noting that preparations for the concert were already underway.

In a gesture of appreciation, Álvarez thanked his fans for their understanding and support, expressing eagerness to reconnect with his Texas audience in the near future. Promoters reassured ticket holders that their purchases remain valid for the rescheduled date. For those unable to attend, refund details will be communicated via email shortly.

This isn't the first time visa issues have impacted Álvarez's career. In 2017, his U.S. work visa was revoked due to alleged connections with a drug traffickerβ€”a claim he denied, attributing it to a real estate transaction. After being removed from the sanctions list in 2022, he regained his visa in 2025.
