Klay Thompson Sparks Dating Rumors with Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion seems to be enjoying a vibrant summer alongside NBA champion Klay Thompson.
On July 12, Thompson shared several images on Instagram, one of which featured a woman resembling the "Savage" artist. Although the woman was captured from behind, her hairstyle closely matched Megan's current look.
In another photo, Thompson, 35, was seen holding hands with his companion, whose nails and jewelry echoed those worn by Megan, 30, just days prior.
Speculation about their relationship ignited after Megan posted an image on July 10 that seemingly included Thompson in the background.
While neither party has officially confirmed their romance, the comments section of their posts buzzed with reactions. “Woah hard launch,” remarked Ty Jerome, a former teammate of Thompson's from the Golden State Warriors.
Thompson responded to Jerome with, “I’m all gas no brakes Jerome,” indicating a playful acknowledgment of the rumors.
Another ex-Warriors player, David West, chimed in with “Shooters shoot!!!!” while a follower humorously noted, “Went to Texas and got a Texan.”
Thompson recently signed a lucrative three-year contract worth $50 million with the Dallas Mavericks after dedicating 13 seasons to the Warriors.
Megan, originally from Houston, was previously linked to NBA player Torrey Craig, whom she was spotted with during New York Fashion Week in September 2024. Before that, she dated rapper Pardison Fontaine from 2021 to 2023.
Her past also includes a brief relationship with Tory Lanez, who was involved in a serious incident with her in July 2020. Lanez was charged with shooting Megan and was sentenced to ten years in prison after being found guilty of multiple charges in August 2023.
Thompson's romantic history includes actress Laura Harrier, whom he dated from 2018 until early 2020.
