Margot Robbie Dazzles in Bikini While Embracing Motherhood

Australian actress Margot Robbie was all smiles as she basked in the sun on the Gold Coast during the Easter long weekend, just seven months after welcoming her first child.

The star of Barbie looked radiant and in fantastic shape, confidently flaunting her bikini body in a chic high-waisted two-piece that perfectly highlighted her post-baby glow.

At 34, Margot appeared to be in great spirits as she enjoyed a refreshing swim with a friend, laughing and chatting in the warm waters of the Gold Coast.

Later, she was spotted sharing a sweet and tender moment with her long-time partner and husband, British film producer Tom Ackerley, as the couple soaked in the relaxed beach vibes together.

Adding a sentimental touch to her Easter weekend look, Margot accessorized with a delicate gold necklace that read “Mama” – a heartfelt nod to her new role as a mother.

The Hollywood star boasts an incredibly impressive career and recently found herself back in the spotlight when she took on the lead role in Barbie, not only starring in the film but also producing the 2023 title.

Margot previously discussed her role with The Hollywood Reporter, revealing that she experienced significant growth in her approach to acting through this character.

She candidly shared, “If I’m being honest, I felt quite exposed in playing this character in a way I definitely wasn’t expecting.”

“In the past, I’ve really hidden behind my characters; they’re big, crazy personas, and I’m in makeup and costumes, doing an accent. There’s none of me in that.”

“By the end of Barbie, after she’s gone on this journey — and my wigs are getting smaller, the clothes are less structured — you feel like you’re just watching me, which is the opposite of what my instincts tell me to do.”

Margot is eager to embrace this notion in her future projects, explaining, “Injecting the personal and intimate things of yourself into a character leaves you a bit raw, but it’s kind of beautiful as well.”

“Embracing the painful parts of life makes you more alive, and I’m in that headspace right now.”
