New York Jets WAGs Surprised by Aaron Rodgers' Marriage

Football fans weren't the only ones caught off guard by Aaron Rodgers' recent marriage revelation. The wives and girlfriends of New York Jets players, often referred to as WAGs, also expressed their surprise.

"I had no idea he was seeing anyone," said Jessie Vera-Tucker, spouse of Jets guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, in a statement following the release of Prime Video's series, The Home Team: New York Jets. "This is news to me," she added, reflecting the sentiments of many.

Maranda Williams, married to defensive end Quinnen Williams, echoed this sentiment, exclaiming, "Oh my gosh, I didn’t know he had a partner either!" Their reactions highlight the unexpected nature of Rodgers' announcement.

At 41, Rodgers now plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He disclosed during a June press conference that he had tied the knot with his wife, Brittani, "a couple months" prior to the announcement.
