As the Panthers prepare for their third consecutive Stanley Cup Final, Maurice's blend of humor and seriousness has proven successful. With a playoff record of 41-21 since joining Florida, he has transformed from a coach with a lackluster playoff history to one leading a formidable team. "This is the best team I've ever coached," Maurice stated, emphasizing the distinct quality of his current roster.
The Panthers, fresh off their Stanley Cup victory last season, are set to face the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the finals. Last year, they triumphed over the Oilers in a thrilling seven-game series, marking Maurice's first championship in a three-decade coaching career. "Oh, I'll never get tired of hearing that," he remarked about the title.
