PayPal Park to Host 2025 NWSL Championship
On November 22, 2025, PayPal Park in San Jose will serve as the battleground for the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) championship game.
This venue, home to Bay FC and the Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes, boasts an 18,800-seat capacity. Since its opening in 2015, it has welcomed U.S. national team matches, including an upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup clash between the U.S. men's team and Trinidad and Tobago this Sunday.
The NWSL Championship has been held at a predetermined site since 2015, with CBS set to broadcast the event and Paramount+ providing streaming options, as confirmed in a recent announcement from the league.
"The community's passion for the game, combined with the excitement surrounding one of our newest teams in Bay FC, makes it the perfect setting to celebrate the league's top talent and crown our next champion," stated NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman.
Bay FC, which was established by former U.S. national team stars Brandi Chastain, Leslie Osborne, Danielle Slaton, and Aly Wagner, made its league debut last season.
The NWSL playoffs are scheduled to commence on November 7, leading up to the championship showdown.
