Travis Kelce’s Tight End University: A Closer Look at the Event
Travis Kelce's annual Tight End University (TEU) event recently unfolded in Nashville, drawing attention not only for its football focus but also for the presence of Taylor Swift, who supported her boyfriend throughout the festivities.
Founded in 2021 by Kelce alongside NFL stars George Kittle and Greg Olsen, TEU aims to unite the tight end community through a comprehensive three-day program. The event has also played a pivotal role in Kelce's relationship with Swift, as he crafted friendship bracelets for attendees shortly after attending her Eras Tour concert.
“Attendees bond and collaborate while engaging in activities like film study, on-field drills, and recovery sessions,” the TEU website states. “Current players and retired legends alike offer invaluable insights, creating a unique learning environment.”
This year’s gathering featured rookie tight ends honing their skills under the guidance of seasoned athletes such as Dallas Goedert and Rob Gronkowski. The event included a welcome party where Swift made a notable appearance alongside Kelce, as well as a “Tight Ends & Friends” concert featuring her performance with Kane Brown.
Brown humorously shared on Instagram, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not,” alongside clips of their duet on Swift’s hit “Shake It Off.” This marked Swift’s first performance since reclaiming the masters of her initial six albums.
“How loud could this place get?” she playfully asked the audience. “I was like, ‘I don’t have a guitar,’ and then Chase Rice offered his!” She dedicated her performance to the tight ends, adding, “We just figured we were going to play that three minutes ago. You guys have a lovely evening!”

TEU extends its reach beyond athletes to include their families. TikTok influencer Cali Prieskorn attended with her husband, Denver Broncos rookie Caden Prieskorn. “Such an amazing experience with some of the best brands and people,” she shared on TikTok, highlighting her time at the gifting lounge featuring sponsors like Old Spice and Dude Wipes.
“The best surprise performance with the best group of people!!” Cali exclaimed, sharing moments from Swift’s set. Additionally, a “Ladies Luncheon” catered to the wives and girlfriends of the athletes.
Claire Kittle, married to San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, expressed her excitement on Instagram about the luncheon. “My favorite brands come together to spoil the wives of our NFL Tight Ends,” she wrote, detailing various sponsors that contributed to the event's success.
Swift officially joined the ranks of NFL partners in summer 2023 after publicly dating Kelce, further intertwining her presence with the football community.
