Travis Kelce Sidesteps Personal Questions on Podcast with Jason Kelce
During a recent episode of "New Heights," Jason Kelce attempted to engage his brother, Travis Kelce, in light conversation, but the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was not having it.
"For the next week, at least take your mind a little elsewhere," Jason suggested on November 5. "What are you doing? Anything fun [or are] you getting into any travel? What are you doing over the week? Tell us about your personal life."
Travis, currently enjoying a bye week, firmly declined to share any details about his plans. "No, no," he replied, emphasizing his commitment to the NFL season. "Obviously, you set goals out in the beginning of this season to win the division, win the conference [and] get that home field advantage, make everyone have to come through Arrowhead. Right now, it’s just not that."
The Chiefs hold a 5-4 record as they head into their bye week. "I’m not thinking about [the playoffs yet]," Travis stated. "I’m thinking about how the f*** are we going to beat the Denver Broncos? That’s going to be on my mind for the next two weeks."
As the Chiefs prepare for their November 16 game against the Broncos, Travis kicked off his time off with a date night in New York City alongside fiancée Taylor Swift. The couple was seen hand-in-hand outside the Polo Bar, both dressed in matching navy tops—Swift in an off-the-shoulder blouse and jeans, while Travis opted for olive trousers.
Since their engagement in August 2023, Swift and Travis have been navigating their relationship in the public eye. Swift recently shared her feelings about her engagement ring on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "I look at [my engagement ring] constantly. It doesn’t feel, in any way, normal for me," she expressed. "He’s just my favorite person I’ve ever met. The fact that this is the person that I get to hang out with every day forever is just... that’s the whole thing of it."
Wedding plans are also on their minds. A source revealed that both are actively involved in the planning process. "They don’t want a long engagement [and] very much want to start a family in the next year or so. Family means everything to them," the insider noted.
While Travis focuses on football and wedding preparations, Swift has maintained a relatively low profile since releasing her latest project, The Life of a Showgirl. She humorously described her hobbies as reminiscent of the 1700s during an August episode of "New Heights." "We’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life," she said, highlighting her passion for baking.
