Tyrese Haliburton Celebrates Game 1 Victory with Girlfriend Jade Jones
Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, fresh off a stunning overtime victory against the New York Knicks, shared a tender moment with his girlfriend, Jade Jones, on the court at Madison Square Garden. The Pacers triumphed 138-135 in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, marking a significant comeback.
On May 21, Jones took to her Instagram Story to showcase their celebration, capturing the couple embracing in the empty arena. “My baby 💖,” she wrote, as she stood on her tiptoes to reach her 6’5” partner.
In another post, she expressed her pride with a heartfelt message: “I’m so proud of you ❤️.” Their relationship, which began in 2019 at Iowa State University, has been a source of support for both. Haliburton was a standout player while Jones cheered for the team.

Jones previously celebrated Haliburton’s birthday in February with a series of photos, declaring him her best friend and expressing her gratitude for their journey together. “You’re my rock forever! I love you so much 🥰❤️,” she wrote, highlighting their strong bond.
Haliburton’s performance in Game 1 was nothing short of remarkable. He hit a buzzer-beater to tie the game and force overtime, overcoming a daunting 14-point deficit with just over three minutes remaining. His celebration included mimicking a choke sign, a nod to former Pacers legend Reggie Miller’s iconic gesture during the 1995 playoffs.
“I wanted [Miller] to see it more than anything,” Haliburton remarked post-game. “It’s really cool to continue to make my own history while showing respect to those who came before us. Definitely a special moment.”

Haliburton acknowledged that Miller’s Pacers did not win the series against the Knicks in 1995, adding with a laugh, “Would not like to repeat that.”
In total, Haliburton recorded 31 points, 11 assists, and four rebounds in the game. The Pacers are set to return to Madison Square Garden for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 23.
