Tyson Foerster Secures Two-Year Deal with Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers have officially re-signed forward Tyson Foerster, locking him into a two-year contract valued at $7.5 million.
On Thursday, general manager Daniel Briere confirmed the extension, which will see Foerster's cap hit set at $3.75 million for both the 2025-26 and 2026-27 NHL seasons.
At just 23 years old, Foerster achieved personal bests this past season, netting 25 goals alongside 18 assists for a total of 43 points. With his restricted free agency looming on July 1, this contract secures his place with the team for the immediate future.
Selected as the Flyers' first-round pick, 23rd overall, in the 2020 NHL Draft, Foerster has accumulated 83 points over 166 games played, all with Philadelphia. Notably, he also represented Canada at the recent world hockey championships.
