Broncos' Bo Nix Celebrates Thrilling Comeback Win Amid Personal Milestones
The Denver Broncos pulled off a remarkable comeback against the New York Giants, clinching a 33-32 victory that left fans and players alike in disbelief. Among the spectators was Izzy Nix, wife of quarterback Bo Nix, who experienced the rollercoaster of emotions firsthand.
Izzy, 27, married to Bo, 25, since July 2022, was present at Empower Field at Mile High on October 19. The Broncos found themselves down 19-0 entering the fourth quarter, a situation that would typically spell doom for any team. Yet, the Broncos defied the odds.
“I’m still alive but I’m barely breathing,” Izzy posted on her Instagram Story, sharing a moment with Bo post-game. Her enthusiasm was palpable as she cheered, “GO BRONCOS!!!!!” accompanied by celebratory emojis.
In another post, she humorously noted her reaction to Bo’s performance: “My eyes may or may not have been closed.” Bo made history during this game, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to achieve two passing and two rushing touchdowns within a single quarter.

Outside of football, the couple has had a busy month. On October 10, they announced they are expecting their first child, sharing the news with a joyful “Nix party of 3!!!” on social media.
Their recent trip to London for a game against the New York Jets turned into a family gathering. Izzy enjoyed quality time with Bo’s mother, Krista, who expressed her gratitude on Instagram for the opportunity to bond during the trip.
“Thanks, Bo, for your London business trip!” Krista wrote. “He always has to work while we play but NFL London gave me an opportunity to have the sweetest week with two of my girls and a long overdue visit with my Aunt Wendy…lots of memories made!”
Before the Broncos’ stunning comeback, NFL teams had lost 1,602 consecutive games when trailing by at least 18 points with six minutes remaining. With just over five minutes left in the game, Bo rushed for a touchdown that narrowed the Giants' lead to 26-16 after a successful two-point conversion.
The Broncos scored all 33 points in the fourth quarter, marking the second-highest total ever recorded by a team in a single quarter in NFL history. “I don’t even know how we scored 33 points in a quarter; that’s kind of insane,” Bo remarked after the game. “It’s just whatever we had to get done, we did it… By any means necessary.”
Bo’s four touchdowns in the fourth quarter included two rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns to wide receiver Troy Franklin and running back RJ Harvey.
After taking a 30-26 lead, the Giants briefly regained control with a rushing touchdown from quarterback Jaxson Dart with just over a minute left. However, a missed extra point by Giants kicker Jude McAtamney allowed Broncos kicker Will Lutz to seal the game with a 39-yard field goal as time expired.
With this victory, Bo and the Broncos improved their record to 5-2, placing them ahead of both the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West standings.
