Jun 07 2025

Denver's RiNo Arts District is set to welcome a striking new addition: a 30-foot-tall climbable rhinoceros sculpture. This bold installation, crafted to embody the spirit of the Denargo Market, aims to foster community connections and celebrate local artistry.

With over 1,000 entries submitted during the "Name the Rhino" campaign, Denargo Market has selected five finalists for the public to consider. The finalists reflect a diverse range of creative ideas, showcasing the community's enthusiasm for this unique project.

Voting is now open at DenargoMarket.com, where participants can rank their favorite names in order of preference. The winning name will be revealed during a special unveiling event featuring Councilman Darrell Watson on June 12.

This initiative not only highlights local talent but also positions the sculpture as one of the largest of its kind in the United States, inviting both residents and visitors to engage with art in an interactive way.

As anticipation builds for the unveiling, the community's involvement in naming this landmark piece underscores the importance of public art in enhancing urban spaces.
