Travis Kelce's preparation for the 2025-2026 NFL season may require some inspiration from his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. This was the sentiment expressed by ESPN's Hannah Storm during a recent episode of NFL on ESPN.
“He’s gotta keep up with his girlfriend, who can do a three-and-a-half-hour concert without skipping a beat,” Storm remarked, subtly critiquing Kelce’s fitness level. The comment comes as Kelce, 35, gears up for the upcoming football season after announcing his return to the field on February 27, following retirement speculation.
As the couple enjoys their time away from the spotlight, they were recently seen dining in West Palm Beach, where their date night totaled $400. Reports indicate they indulged in a lavish meal that included endive salad, cacio e pepe pasta, lobster risotto, and wagyu filet mignon. Swift reportedly savored the Dover sole and lobster risotto, while Kelce opted for the steak and burger.
Currently, Kelce is training in Florida, residing in a luxurious $20 million rental in Boca Raton, about 25 miles from downtown West Palm Beach. Sources close to the couple have indicated that “Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love.” They are reportedly taking a break from public appearances.
“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” another insider shared. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”
Despite this desire for privacy, Kelce continues to show support for Swift. After she announced her acquisition of her original masters on May 30, he liked her post on social media, as did the account for his “New Heights” podcast.

Swift has been busy rereleasing updated versions of her first six albums after her former label sold the masters to a third party. She began this project with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) in 2021 and has since released Red (Taylor’s Version), Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Each album features previously unheard vault songs alongside re-recorded tracks.
In a recent update regarding her final two re-records, Reputation and her self-titled debut, Swift confirmed that she has completed the re-recording of her debut album but has made little progress on Reputation. “Full transparency: I haven’t even re-recorded a quarter of it,” she explained. “The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it.”
She added, “To be perfectly honest, it’s the one album in those first six that I thought couldn’t be improved upon by redoing it. Not the music or photos or videos.” Swift hinted at future unreleased vault tracks from that album, leaving fans eager for more.
