Jared Goff experienced a surge of notifications after Taylor Swift casually mentioned his name during a recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast. The Detroit Lions quarterback described the aftermath as overwhelming, with his phone buzzing incessantly from messages.

“Yeah, pretty crazy, huh? Very cool, I guess,” Goff remarked to reporters, reflecting on the unexpected attention. “That was a crazy couple hours last night for me and my phone. I was like, ‘Oh, okay.’ But yeah, pretty cool.”

Swift appeared as a special guest on the August 13 episode, co-hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason. During the conversation, she shared her initial misconceptions about the NFL before her relationship with Kelce.

“It was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras Tour. I just love it. I just love it a lot,” she expressed during the episode. “Working on this, I was physically exhausted, at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating.”

Collaborating with her mentor Max Martin and Shellback, Swift emphasized the unique nature of this project. “We’ve made songs that I’m so proud of,” she stated. “We’ve never made an album before where it’s just the three of us. It felt like catching lightning in a bottle, honestly.”
