Jonas Brothers Relocate Chicago Concert to Suburban Venue
The Jonas Brothers have announced a change in their concert plans, moving their Chicago performance from Wrigley Field to the Credit 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois, for this summer's "Hometown Tour."
Originally set for August 26 at the iconic Wrigley Field, the concert has now been canceled at that location, as confirmed by the Cubs' official website.
In a recent Instagram post, the band revealed the new venue and updated tour schedule, which includes additional dates and locations.
Questions remain regarding the status of presale tickets purchased for the Wrigley Field show. Fans are particularly anxious about whether these tickets will be refunded or if they can be transferred to the new venue.
Concerns have been raised among fans who bought tickets through the Major League Baseball website, with reports of similar issues surfacing from concertgoers in Washington, D.C., following a venue change there as well.
Efforts to obtain clarity on ticket transfers have been made, but responses from Wrigley Field organizers are still pending.
This tour marks a significant milestone for the band, celebrating "20 years of making music together" while promoting their new album. Joining them on stage will be special guests including Marshmello, The All-American Rejects, and Boys Like Girls.
Tickets for the "Hometown Tour" are set to go on sale Friday, June 20, at 10 a.m.
