Stefon Diggs, a prominent wide receiver for the New England Patriots, is also making headlines as Cardi B's partner. His journey in the NFL began when he was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015 after showcasing his talent at the University of Maryland.
In 2020, Diggs transitioned to the Buffalo Bills, where he made a significant impact until 2024. Following his tenure with the Bills, he was traded to the Houston Texans before signing a lucrative three-year contract with the Patriots.
Cardi B and Diggs were first seen together in July 2024, shortly after Cardi filed for divorce from Offset, a member of the hip-hop group Migos. Their relationship remained under wraps for nearly a year until Cardi publicly confirmed their romance in June 2025.
Speculation about a potential pregnancy arose in August when Cardi appeared in court for an assault trial involving security guard Emani Ellis, stemming from a 2020 incident. The rapper was cleared of all charges earlier this month, but fans were already buzzing about the possibility of her expecting her fourth child with Diggs.
On September 17, during an interview with Gayle King, Cardi confirmed the news. “I am having a baby with my boyfriend,” she stated. “I’m excited, I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
Diggs was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in November 1993. He excelled in both football and track at Our Lady of Good Counsel High School before committing to the University of Maryland. Like many college athletes, he opted to enter the NFL Draft early, foregoing his senior season.
In addition to his football prowess, Diggs was a sprinter during his high school years. He is the eldest of three brothers, all of whom are involved in football. His brother Trevon plays cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys, while Darez played at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
After their father's passing in January 2008 due to congestive heart failure, Diggs stepped into a fatherly role for his younger siblings. With Cardi B, he is set to welcome his second child; he has one daughter, Nova, born in October 2016 from a previous relationship.
