Travis Kelce Defends Relationship with Taylor Swift Amid Attention Claims
Travis Kelce has responded to speculation regarding his relationship with Taylor Swift, asserting that they are not seeking the spotlight during the NFL offseason.
On the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast, Kelce, 35, discussed their recent outings together, emphasizing their enjoyment of each other's company. “Having fun with it, man,” he remarked to hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. “Being a couple, dude. You already know. It gets thrown out there like we’re trying to seek the attention every now and then.”
He further clarified, “We’re just enjoying life and having fun.” The couple has spent significant time in Florida, where Kelce rented a lavish $20 million mansion in Boca Raton for his offseason training.
During their time in Florida, Kelce has taken the opportunity to introduce Swift to various aspects of the sports world. They attended Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals on June 12, where Kelce expressed his excitement: “That was fun, man. F***in’ hell of a game.”
As the NFL season approaches, Compton pointed out that this will be the first season since their relationship began that Swift won’t be on tour. “She tried to get to as many [games] as she could last year,” Kelce noted, adding that he anticipates her presence at more Chiefs home games this year. “We’ll have Tay representing up at Arrowhead [Stadium],” he said with a smile.

Recently, Swift joined Kelce at the fifth annual Tight End University in Nashville, where she surprised attendees with a performance on June 24. Compton, who was present at the event, praised Swift’s demeanor. “No matter what people say about Taylor Swift — people say everything — this girl’s life is followed and thumbed through like a microscope,” he stated. “The way she handled herself, she was obviously very gracious, very nice to us. Super sweet to us. I go in for a handshake, she goes in for a hug. She’s hugging everybody.”
Compton continued to express admiration for Swift’s interactions with fans, noting that her kindness during those moments was remarkable. “I thought that was f***ing cool,” he concluded.
