Oct 06 2025

During a recent segment of ESPN's Monday Night Countdown, Travis Kelce opened up about his future in the NFL while conversing with his brother, Jason Kelce. The discussion took place on October 6, as they were joined by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid.

“Trav, year 13. I don’t know how many you got left,” Jason remarked, prompting Travis to reflect on his current season. The tight end responded with optimism, indicating that he has no immediate plans to retire. “Man, I’ll be fortunate to keep having fun with these guys year in year out,” he said, emphasizing his day-to-day approach to the game.

Travis, a three-time Super Bowl champion, elaborated on the culture within the Chiefs organization. “That culture has become my way of life,” he stated, noting the high expectations that accompany each season. “The expectation every single year is Super Bowl or failure.” Despite a challenging start to the 2025-2026 NFL season, where the Chiefs lost their first two games, he expressed confidence in the team's potential for recovery.
