U.S. Open Tickets at Oakmont Country Club Sold Out, Limited Practice Round Tickets Available

Jun 07 2025

On Friday morning, the United States Golf Association confirmed that tickets for the championship rounds of the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club are completely sold out.

Jon Podany, the USGA's chief commercial officer, remarked, "The tremendous response from golf fans in Pittsburgh, across the country and around the world demonstrates the excitement about the U.S. Open coming back to Oakmont." He added, "We appreciate the loyalty of U.S. Open spectators and are confident that this year's championship, being played at one of our three anchor sites, will provide a very memorable experience for all attendees."

While championship round tickets are no longer available, the USGA has announced that a limited number of tickets for practice rounds remain for purchase on their official website.

The U.S. Open is set to take place from June 9-15, marking its ninth occurrence at Oakmont and the first since 2016 when Dustin Johnson claimed victory.

With an estimated 200,000 attendees expected near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the spotlight will undoubtedly be on the golf itself. Yet, the USGA has curated a variety of offerings beyond just the 18th hole.

Concessions will feature local favorites such as Caliente Pizza, bread from Mancini's Bakery, and coffee from National Grind. A unique Steel City Hot Dog topped with capicola, provolone cheese, vinegar slaw, potato sticks, and mustard will also be available.

Fans can indulge in an Oakmont shaved kielbasa sandwich, a tribute to the historic club's status as one of the USGA's three anchor sites. This sandwich will be featured at all future U.S. Open venues alongside a Pebble Beach chicken sandwich and a Pinehurst barbecue pork sandwich.

For those interested in merchandise, a massive pavilion spans 35,000 square feet and offers half a million items including hats, shirts, towels, ball markers, umbrellas, and more.

"We have 1,200 volunteers who are just working on merchandise," stated Mary Lopuszynski, the USGA's Managing Director of Merchandise and Licensing.
