Giants Edge Braves 5-4 in Extra Innings on Wild Pitch

Craig Kimbrel, making his first appearance for Atlanta since 2014, took the mound in the seventh inning. Both teams have now played 26 one-run games this season, tied for the most in Major League Baseball. The Giants improved their record to 14-12 in such contests, while the Braves fell to 9-17.
