Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce: Debunking the Marriage Rumors

Jun 10 2025

Rumors swirled over the weekend as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attended a wedding together, leading many to speculate that the couple had secretly married.

However, sources close to the situation have confirmed that the two are not wed.

Swift, 35, and Kelce, also 35, were present at the wedding of Kelce’s cousin, Tanner Corum, in Knoxville, Tennessee on June 6. Their attendance at this event meant they missed another wedding invitation for Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet on June 7.

On June 9, Kmet’s wedding planner shared glimpses of the event on social media, including behind-the-scenes photos that caught fans' attention.

Among these images was a baby blue invitation addressed to “Taylor and Travis Kelce,” indicating their assigned seating at Table 13—a number that holds significance for Swift.

“We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee,” the planner noted, as reported by various outlets.

She elaborated, “Each guest received an envelope attached to a beautiful backdrop, with love notes written by Emily for all her guests.”

This detail sparked further speculation among fans about potential news from the couple.

“taylor and travis KELCE at table 13,” one user posted on X. “should I say congratulations? 🤔💖”

Another chimed in with excitement, “TAYLOR AND TRAVIS KELCE?!????? EXCUSE ME.”

While fans continue to dream about their wedding plans, Swift and Kelce were seen enjoying themselves at the reception, posing for photos with Tanner and his new wife, Samantha Corum.

Tanner expressed gratitude on Instagram, sharing a photo of the group and stating, “So damn thankful for our family and the people that love us the most to come celebrate us on this special day.”

Inside the venue, Swift was spotted dancing along to the couple’s first dance, further fueling the joyful atmosphere.

Earlier this year, Kelce hinted at the challenges of planning a wedding around his football commitments.

“I actually don’t know people who’ve gotten married in the fall,” he remarked on his “New Heights” podcast.

Kelce humorously noted that most weddings he has attended have been in summer, adding, “I’ve seen weddings in f***ing February.”

“I’ve seen weddings everywhere,” he continued. “But the fall… I’m not so sure if the fall is a good wedding season.”
