Kyle Higashioka delivered a standout performance with five RBIs, while teammates Evan Carter and Wyatt Langford each launched home runs, propelling the Texas Rangers to a commanding 16-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday night.

Carter's impressive night included three hits, three RBIs, and four runs scored, contributing to the Rangers' total of 17 hits throughout the game.

In the fourth inning, Jake Burger reached base due to a fielding error and advanced to second. He later scored on Adolis García's double, setting the stage for Higashioka's two-run single that extended Texas's lead to 3-0.

The fifth inning saw the Rangers capitalize on two outs, scoring five runs, with Carter's two-run homer in the sixth pushing the score to 10-3.

Tyler Mahle (6-3) struggled on the mound, allowing four runs on ten hits over 5 2/3 innings.

Meanwhile, the Twins managed to respond with back-to-back RBI singles from Ty France and Royce Lewis in the fourth. Trevor Larnach added a two-out double, followed by Ryan Jeffers' RBI single in the fifth. Matt Wallner also contributed with a leadoff homer in the sixth.

Langford ignited a six-run eighth inning with his leadoff home run, bringing the score to 16-4.

France has been on a roll, reaching base safely in a career-high 21 consecutive games, boasting a .329 batting average (26 for 79) and 15 RBIs during this stretch.

Despite this win, the Rangers hold a 3-4 record on their nine-game road trip and have lost 13 of their last 20 games.

In the fifth inning, Corey Seager walked and advanced to second on Carter's single. A wild pitch by starter Simeon Woods Richardson (2-3) allowed Carter to move to second. Josh Jung then hit a two-run single, followed by García's double. Higashioka capped off the inning with a two-RBI double before scoring on a single from Josh Smith.

This victory marks Texas's first three consecutive road wins of the season.

Looking ahead, Jack Leiter (4-2, 3.48 ERA) is set to take the mound against Minnesota's David Festa (0-1, 5.40 ERA) in the second game of this three-game series.
