Travis Kelce Introduces Taylor Swift-Inspired Cocktail at New Steakhouse
Travis Kelce is making waves in the culinary scene with a special tribute to his fiancée, Taylor Swift, at his upcoming restaurant.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, alongside teammate Patrick Mahomes, is gearing up to launch 1587 Prime steakhouse in Kansas City, Missouri, next month. The restaurant's Instagram account has been buzzing with sneak peeks of the menu items that will soon delight patrons.
On August 28, a video surfaced on the 1587 Prime Instagram featuring Kelce and Mahomes enjoying a cocktail dubbed “The Alchemy.” This drink shares its name with a track from Swift’s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which debuted last year.
As the bartender introduces the cocktail, he describes it as infused with cucumber, orange peel, and rose buds. “This is The Alchemy,” he announces, setting the stage for a unique dining experience.

Swift’s song “The Alchemy” reflects her relationship with Kelce, weaving themes of love and football into its lyrics. The track paints a picture of romance intertwined with sports metaphors, celebrating victories and connections.
“So when I touch down / Call the amateurs and / Cut ’em from the team / Ditch the clowns, get the crown / Baby, I’m the one to beat,” she sings, capturing the essence of their relationship. “Cause the sign on your heart / Said it’s still reserved for me / Honestly, who are we to fight the alchemy?”
1587 Prime is set to officially open on September 17, promising an exciting addition to Kansas City’s dining landscape.
This culinary homage follows the couple's engagement announcement on August 26. In a playful Instagram post, they shared the moment Kelce proposed, captioning it, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Kelce presented Swift with an exquisite old mine brilliant cut diamond ring set on a gold band adorned with smaller stones. Designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, the ring has garnered attention for its estimated value between $950,000 and $1,270,000. Jewelry expert Nilesh Rakholia noted that the stone likely falls within the 7–10 carat range, placing it among the most iconic celebrity engagement rings.
On August 28, Swift showcased her stunning ring while attending a college football game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City with her fiancé.
