Travis Kelce has taken a bold step off the field, expanding his influence beyond football.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, now 35, has partnered with American Eagle as both the face and creative force behind a new campaign. This collaboration, titled AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce, marks a significant milestone in his career, officially announced on August 27.
Kelce's role as Creative Director involved him deeply in the project, overseeing everything from design to production. The collection, which has been in development for over a year, is set to release its second drop on September 24.

In curating the collection, Kelce meticulously chose athletes to represent the brand, focusing on their embodiment of an active lifestyle. He was hands-on with fabric selection, color choices, and overall design aesthetics.
The campaign features a star-studded lineup including tennis player Anna Frey, basketball standout Azzi Fudd, quarterback Drew Allar, Kiyan Anthony—son of NBA star Carmelo Anthony—and gold medalist gymnast Suni Lee. Each athlete reflects the “live to play” ethos that Kelce champions.
“Keeping this collaboration under wraps for nearly a year has been a challenge,” Kelce expressed. “Working with an established brand that shares my vision allowed us to collaborate on every aspect of the design process. I founded Tru Kolors in 2019 to promote authenticity and fun in style, and I wanted this collection to resonate with that spirit. I hope everyone finds something in it that they can connect with.”

Fans can rejoice as the collection is affordably priced, featuring over 90 items ranging from $14.95 to $179.95. The lineup includes vintage-inspired T-shirts, revamped varsity jackets, cricket sweaters, rugby polos, utility cargos, and cozy cashmere sets.
This partnership between AE and Kelce aims to empower consumers through fashion that feels personal and versatile. With the NFL season approaching, excitement builds as Kelce prepares to lead his team against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 5.
